Al Johnston knows how to capture the life and soul of an event, or party, and we were delighted with his support at the North Staffordshire Hunt Ball 2015. Al is always professional and very quick to upload his images to the website. We thoroughly recommend him for your event or party.

I first met Al when he came to Somerford Park to take pictures at our Equine Adventures training camp last year. What a nice guy! And the fact that he is a horseman himself means he understands the movement of a horse, when to get the best shot and, almost most importantly, what the rider likes to see. These three elements combined lead to some fabulous action photography and I was delighted with the images of me and my horse in action on the cross country schooling field. Al even managed to make the jumps look bigger than they probably were so great material for Facebook boasts! I'm looking out for him now wherever I go for more fab shots.
Just spent a fantastic season hunting with the Cheshire Drag. The memories of which have been captured perfectly in one of Al Johnston's hunting books. A fantastic way to look back on these priceless memories in what is a very modern version of a hunting journal!

I greatly appreciate Als photos both hunting with Cheshire Drag and the very memorable first win for Emma at Flint and Denbigh pt to pt at Bangor and her 2nd at Tabley. I am always thankful for his efforts and long days to capture memories in the hunt field and point to points, Al offers a great prompt service and very helpful providing great images of memorable days.
Alastair always takes fantastic photos and at Bangor on Dee point to point took some amazing photos of our horses and owners that we were able to use on our website and calendar that promoted the yard hugely.

Al supplied Northern Horse Magazine with images he took from the Cheshire Forest Hunt P2P held in April. A fantastic array of images that depicted both the level of competition and the camaraderie of all taking part, even though the weather was somewhat damp! Al even supplied an informative write up to accompany the images featured in the June/July 2015 edition. Highly recommended.
